Simple rules. Different scoring.
The role a coach assigns is what determines the points. The same AFL performance can be valuable in one Vale position and ordinary in another.

Name 1 ruck, 2 disposal players, 1 marker, 1 tackler and 3 goal kickers, plus position emergencies.
Player eligibility
A player can be selected in one Vale position per game and must be named in the AFL side, not solely as an AFL emergency.
Injury substitution
A substitute may be activated when a player records no playing minutes in the second half. The higher eligible score applies.
Bye score
An eligible player on an AFL bye receives their current season average, rounded up from .5 where required.
